Industrial Inspection

In industrial plants most of what needs inspecting is high, confined or hazardous: stack tops, tank roofs, pipe bridges, silos and turbine bodies. The classic answer is scaffolding, a crane or rope access — time, cost and a safety burden.

From the air these areas are captured without anyone working at height. When the same points are recorded periodically from the same angle, changes such as crack growth or corrosion can be tracked by comparison.

  1. How we work
  2. ScopeStructures to inspect, access constraints and plant safety rules are clarified.
  3. PlanningFlight plan, safety perimeter and imaging pattern are agreed with the plant.
  4. SweepTarget areas are captured systematically at repeatable angle and distance.
  5. ReportFindings are reported with located imagery and can be compared to the previous sweep.

Where it applies

  • Stacks, silos and cooling towers
  • Storage tanks and tank roofs
  • Pipe bridges and process lines
  • Wind turbine blade and tower surfaces
  • Roofs and high structural elements

Frequently asked

Does production have to stop?

Most inspections can run while production continues; constraints are identified during the survey.

Do you follow our site safety rules?

Yes. The flight plan is prepared around the plant's own safety procedure and executed together with the site supervisor.

Can the imagery be compared over time?

Yes. Recording the same points at a repeatable angle makes period-to-period comparison possible.
