Dust, pollen, bird droppings and agricultural residue on a solar panel block the light before it reaches the cell. As soiling builds up, output falls — and because shading is local, other panels in the string are affected too.

Drone cleaning involves no brush or vehicle touching the panel surface; water is applied from the air in controlled amounts. That reduces both the risk of scratching the glass and the volume of water used on site. Large plants are covered quickly without driving between rows.
